Separate the egg whites from the yolks. Beat the egg whites with a little salt, gradually add the sugar and vanilla sugar, then the yolks one by one, without beating, just mix lightly. Drain the oil a little and incorporate, then slowly put the cream and flour in the rain mixed with baking powder.
Wallpaper the tray with baking paper (I used a 30/40 cm tray) and pour the composition into it. Washed and drained plums, break them in half and remove the seeds. Place the plum halves over the composition with the inside up, so that each portion of the cake contains half a plum. Sprinkle a little cinnamon powder over the plums and place the walnut kernels in halves or quarters, depending on how it fits inside the plums. Do not press so as not to lower the plums down the composition. Bake at 180 degrees for 40 minutes. The plums were very sweet and no longer needed sugar.
It turned out very good and fragrant.
